on Fridays from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
This presentation will discuss the five pillars of well-being. It will mainly discuss about contributing factors that have been shown to associate with levels of happiness and well-being. The five pillars include - positive emotions, achievement, meaning, positive relationships, and engagement. This topic derives from research in the positive psychology field. This theory is the most recent update from Dr. Seligmen's work, who is a pioneer in the field. He published Authentic happiness, and Flourish (which is his ground work for the five pillars of well-being).
